This resort is situated within the 12 000 hectare Mabula Game Reserve at the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains.
It is home to a wide variety of game, including the Big Five, and over 300 recorded bird species.
The accommodation units are located in four separate camps of which two camps are fenced, and have been spaced to maximize privacy and enhance the feeling of being in the wild.
A number of free game drives and other wildlife activities are offered by highly skilled guides.

From OR Tambo International Airport take the R21 North to PretoriaGPS Co-ordinates
Follow the N1 North (Polokwane) freeway, this is a toll road with two toll gates, one at the Carousel and the other just after the Zambezi (Sefako Makgato) Drive
Take the Settlers (Bela-Bela) off ramp, turn left
Travel on this road to the T-junction
Turn right and cross over the railway bridge
Turn left at the first road
Follow this road
Turn left onto the slipway into Voortrekker (Chris Hani) Road
Cross over the 4 way stop
At the traffic circle turn left onto the Rustenberg/Thabazimbi Road, still R516
Travel on this road for +-34km until the Rooiberg turn off which has a Mabula Game Lodge sign on the right side of the road. Keep an eye for the Zebula signs which is more visible
Turn right and travel for 4 km until you reach the first turn off to the right (also signposted)
Turn right and travel for 7km until you reach the Mabula entrance gates on your left
