The Apartheid Museum was opened in 2001 and features 22
individual exhibitions illustrating the rise and fall of Apartheid.
Considered the leading museum in Apartheid history and 20th century
South Africa, the Apartheid Museum was designed and assembled by
curators, film makers, historians, and designers. The exhibitions
include photographs, film footage, and artefacts documenting the
struggle and its heroes, including Nelson Mandela.
