COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATE

Dear Dream Vacation Club Member,

Over the last 30 years, Dream Hotels & Resorts has operated with our "One Guest" approach where all guests are treated with the highest level of service and are always well taken care of. This enduring value still guides us as we face the difficult task of responding to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on a national scale.

In this climate, we know travel may not be your first thought, but we want you to know the safety and wellbeing of our guests, employees and associates is our top priority.

Following the announcement of South Africa's nationwide lockdown, all properties within our Dream Vacation Club portfolio will be closed from midnight on the 26th March until 16 April 2020.  Last check-outs are expected at 10 am on Thursday morning.

The Covid-19 pandemic is sweeping across the globe, severely affecting business and the ways we live and work. While the situation is uncertain and we can't predict what will happen, we want to assure you that Dream Vacation Club has a robust business continuity plan in place to protect our employees, your assets and to ensure client service is still maintained.

We're available:As of tomorrow, all call centre operations & administrative functions will still be handled by your holiday concierge department who will be online and working from home. This changing work landscape may come with certain operational challenges, but we will endeavour to maintain our quality service. The normal contact numbers apply.

Go digital first: We encourage all Members to transact on the website for future booking and/or any booking related transactions. Alternatively, we ask that you rather email queries through to the respective department. For any booking related queries , please email bookings@dreamvacs.com or admin@dreamvacs.com for any financial queries relating to your subscriptions and/or loans.

Bookings & cancellations for club members: The 30-day cancellation rule will not apply, and we will give members a full points refund. This will be applicable for all bookings made with check in dates between now and 30 May 2020.

We will continue to provide greater flexibility when planning future travel. Should members want to retain their current bookings (outside of the lockdown period), these will be available at 50% of the normal points charge.

We would also like to encourage members to keep any bookings that fall after 16th April. Cancellations will be still be accepted up to 72 hours in advance, so there is really no risk in holding out for that planned holiday to escape and reset after the national lockdown.

We are already assisting members to reschedule current March & April bookings for a later stage and will continue to provide important updates via our Dream Vacation Club website.
