DURBAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/KING SHAKA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The change-over date from the current Durban International airport to the new one has been confirmed as Saturday 1 May 2010. The airport is at La Mercy & will be known as
King
Shaka
International
Airport.
All flights into
Durban up until and including Friday 30 April 2010 will land at the
Durban
International
Airport. At midnight, all aircraft will then be ferried across to La Mercy (
King
Shaka
International
Airport), and from 1 May 2010, all flights will officially operate out of the new airport.
